Village Volunteers Event: Rainbow Village Saturday, Feb. 13. 10am - 3pm. Every month, The Village Volunteers Program works with local non-profit Rainbow Village--an organization that works with developmently disabled adults on affordable, quality housing options. This meeting is for students not currently in a BLOC who are interested in living in The Village BLOC Program during the 2010-11 academic year. Current BLOC members, staff members, and RAs will be on hand to answer all of your questions about the program; refreshments will be served.
Bugs Bunny on Broadway Concert Sunday, Feb. 21. 1pm. Meet in Village Lobby Join us as we go to Powell Symphony Hall to hear the world-renowned St. Louis Symphony Orchestra perform all of your favorite songs--from Warner Brothers! Village BLOC Vision The Village BLOC Program blends living and learning, action and thought, and encourages involvement. It is designed for upper-class students who share common interests and goals and is an application-based program. BLOCs are designed to complement in-class learning by providing students with housing options that foster opportunities to support common interests and contribute positively to the Village and WU communities.
